I am extremely delighted to be connected to the T.Y.B.Com. students of Savitribai Phule Pune University, through the subject ‘Auditing’. ‘Financial Audit’ is the examination of books of accounts, hence, fundamental knowledge about ‘Book-Keeping’ and ‘Accounting’ will help the students understand and enjoy the subject.

In keeping with the requirements of students, I have revised and added new content which will surely help the students in gaining better understanding of the subject. This Book has been written and compiled in accordance with the New Syllabus of the University, applicable from the academic year 2015. Great care has been taken to make the subject simple.
