It gives us great pleasure to present this book “Animal Diversity – II for the students of First Year B.Sc. Zoology Second Semester. This book is written according to the new syllabus as per CBCS Pattern of June 2019.

Zoology is an interesting subject because the animal world is full of diversity, adaptations, habits and habitats and behaviour. There are several textbooks and reference books available written by Indian and foreign authors but these books are too costly and majority of the students are unable to purchase them for comprehensive study.
