Book Description :

The objective of writing this book is to overcome the difficulties faced by the pharmacy students of under graduate and post graduate program in the subject of Spectroscopy.

Though there are several books available in this field, they are of very high technical standard, complex theoretical background and profound language with minimum information about the pharmaceutical applications. Hence this book is designed as per the syllabus of the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University and other Indian Universities to cater the needs of pharmacy students.

This book consists of five chapters, where chapter 1 describes the fundamentals of spectroscopy, chapter 2 describes the instrumentation and applications of colorimetry, chapter 3 describes the instrumentation and applications of ultraviolet spectroscopy, chapter 4 describes the instrumentation and applications of infrared spectroscopy and chapter 5 describes the instrumentation of applications of mass spectrometry.
