ABOUT THE BOOK :

This is the sixth book in sequence after the successful writing of the books for new B.Sc. I and B.Sc. II (Semester – III) CBCS syllabus along with two practical handbooks for B.Sc. I and B.Sc. II students of Shivaji University, Kolhapur. First of all thanks for the response by the faculty and students.

The present book is intended for the use of B.Sc.II Botany students of Shivaji University, Kolhapur. As we have made all the attempts to make the book easy and simple and at the same time to upgrade the subject knowledge of the students.

In this book the efforts are made to collect and present maximum information with respect to various aspects of botany like Plant Anatomy, Organization of Plant Body, Tissue Systems, Enzymes, Nitrogen Metabolism, Respiration, Seed Dormancy and Germination. Attempts are made to make the topic simple with the help of neat and labeled diagrams.
