Our workforce strength is approximately 150. Half of our personnel are knowledge

Chairman, Pragati Group
An inspiration to everyone who works in and with the Pragati Group, he is a
well-known visionary in the field of educational publishing. As Founder and
Chairman of the Group, over the past 32 years, he has led the Group from a
retail shop to its present position as market leader in knowledge publishing.
• Mr. Kalyanji Furia
Executive Director, Distribution
Having managed the Group’s distribution and retail network efficiently for the
past three decades, he has an intuitive understanding of location-wise market
trends. A superb communicator who knows how to get a good retail performance.
• Mr. Pradeep Furia
Executive Director, Mumbai Division
Stationed in Mumbai since 28 years, he has been successfully handling the retail
and distributor domains for the volatile Mumbai market.
• Mr. Jignesh Furia
Executive Director, Pune Division
Heading the Pune Division for the last 10 years, he has contributed to the Group
through application of better production technology and high-efficiency business
processes in the day-to-day administration of the division. He has been
responsible for the widening of retail base of the Group.
• Mr. Jigar Furia
Manager, Strategy and Business Development
The youngest family-member to join the business, Jigar managed strategic
marketing and change management projects in the one year he spent here. He is
currently pursuing an MBA at London Business School. He possesses a B.S.
(Computer Sciences) from the University of Texas at Austin and a 3 year work
experience in the US working as a Global Services Consultant for Siebel Systems
and Oracle Corporation.
